Calendars and appointments
Keep MAY bookings, business timezones and external calendar events consistent.
What MAY records
MAY can hold appointment-related customer/workflow records and assigned tasks through the supported business tools. An external calendar event requires a configured supported connector or an implemented integration.
Configure the workflow
- Choose the appointment purpose, business location, owner and timezone.
- Confirm which calendar provider/connector is actually enabled for the deployment.
- Provide the provider authorisation through protected integration settings, with the smallest required calendar permissions.
- Map appointment identity to the external event identity and define who owns updates/cancellations.
- Test creation, time changes, cancellation, duplicate delivery and failed provider calls.
Timezone and availability
Keep displayed business time separate from the provider timestamp and confirm the timezone at the point of booking. Do not promise availability or a confirmed booking from an AI draft alone. Review the successful provider/MAY action status.
Troubleshooting
Check the assigned calendar, permissions, timezone, action status and external event identifier. Google Calendar, Microsoft 365 and other providers require their own implemented authorisation and mapping; they are not enabled merely by selecting a generic integration card.
